Does 'Hot Conservative Women' Contest Contribute to Sexual Bias?

S.E. Cupp, a reporter with Glenn Beck TV, has been targeted by Hustler Magazine in what they call a "satirical" but graphically pornographic photo. Understandably, Cupp is upset.

The fact that I work very hard and I’m an Ivy League educated woman with a pretty good job doesn’t matter when you look at a photo like this.

That it's ...

Dictatorship Already Here, Middle Class On Its Way Out

By Ann Kane and M. Catharine Evans

Obama has sewn up power, and his plan to collapse the middle class is working. All sectors are reporting success in following the president’s directives.

Central Administrative Command. Check. Big Media. Check. DOJ. Check. FBI. Check. ATF. Check. Department of Homeland Security. Check. Wall Street. Check. Democrat controlled Senate. ...

Does Obama Intend to Come Out?

The cover of Newsweek magazine stated Obama is "The First Gay President.” The White House rationalizes this to mean the president fully supports the gay movement with his latest remarks about gay marriage.   But could it also be a pre-emptive strike to prepare the populous for an admission by Obama that he is in fact gay?

In addition, the incendiary cover could never have been published without a nod from the White House. ...

The ‘Incredible’ Michelle Rhee

If I had a dollar for every time the education reform crowd used the word “incredible” in their speeches, interviews, articles, posts and books I would be a much richer person. Wendy Kopp of Teach for America must have promoted the word’s usage among her corps members as it has since shown up whenever a TFAer speaks or writes anything.

Michelle Rhee uses the word ad nauseam; ...

Van Jones: Breitbart ‘Worst of Partisans’ Will Get ‘Comeuppance’

I had the privilege of meeting Andrew Breitbart in DC at a conference last fall. He was greeting people, wide open, fast-moving, intense, really larger-than-life. That kind of charisma on the conservative side must have made the opposition troops very nervous.

But I’ve been writing about Van Jones’ 2010 threat against Andrew Breitbart for two years.

In July 2010, after Breitbart released a controversial video of ...

Kathleen Sebelius: ‘Institute of Medicine’ Made Me Do It

On April 26, 2012 Kathleen Sebelius, Secretary of Health and Human Services, spoke at a House of Representatives hearing “Reviewing the President’s Fiscal Year 2013 Budget Proposal for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.”

Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) questioned the Secretary on her legal basis for saying in a previous statement that her department “balanced” the issues of religious liberty and the contraception mandate in Obamacare.

Tennessee Education Reform: ‘Critical Thinking Skills’

After a year of debate and a new ruling on the books, Tennessee science teachers will have the chance to test the law. According to the National Center for Science Education “Governor Bill Haslam allowed Tennessee's House Bill 368 (derisively compared to the Scopes Monkey Trial of 1925 in TN) to become law without his signature on April 10, 2012.”

Supporters of HB368/SB893, ...

StudentsFirst CEO Running Interference for Foreign Staffed Charters in TN

So, let’s get this straight. The CEO of a billion dollar education nonprofit lobbying organization tries to influence a governor on an education bill while her ex-husband runs the state public schools system.

StudentsFirst CEO Michelle Rhee recently penned a letter to Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam requesting he veto a bill intended to restrict the number of foreign staff hired for charter schools in the ...

Diane Ravitch Outsmarted by One of Her Own

Education Week published a letter from Diane Ravitch to another progressive Deweyian educator Deborah Meier entitled “I Don't Understand Michelle Rhee.”

Ravitch can't figure out why Rhee lies, why she blames teachers for everything and how she can reel in die-hard Republicans with ease.

I guess education historian Diane Ravitch is not in on the endgame!

Michelle Rhee’s Mask Is Slipping: Illegal Activity in Constitution State?

It was only a matter of time before Michelle Rhee would start blowing her cover. But I have to admit she’s held off “enquiring minds who want to know” for at least five years since signing on to DC.

Citizen watchdogs have found evidence of Rhee's StudentsFirst group violating CT lobbying rules as she lobbies for Gov. Malloy’s education reforms. Looks like she has some explaining ... << MORE >>
